Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Research Analyst to join our Monitoring and Research Team. This role requires a highly skilled individual who can provide leadership around monitoring and research information, analysis, and advice on Christchurch's social, economic, natural, and built environments.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and supplying data and community feedback on city issues and resident perceptions to support Council outcomes monitoring programs, strategies, and policies. You will also develop information systems that enable provision of information, including leading the reporting of insights on growth modeling and projections for financial modeling, policy, and strategy development.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous work experience leading growth modeling and projection insights reporting and primary research in a public sector research environment.
- At least ten years of public sector experience in using quantitative and qualitative research and analysis methods to report insights.
- Postgraduate tertiary qualification in a relevant social science discipline.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
