We are seeking a Maori cultural advisor to join our mental health team. The role involves providing guidance, advice and direction at clinical and cultural levels within Tawhirimatea inpatient unit and Regional Rehabilitation services.
- Providing in-depth guidance and support on issues relating to Tikanga Maori
- Maintaining the Kawa and Kaupapa of the service
- Fostering good relationships, leadership and decision-making skills
- Motivating and influencing the practice of others
Key Requirements
- Knowledge of Tikanga and Te Reo Maori
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
