**Job Description:**

Ahipara/Kaitaia Face to Face Literacy Coach is a vital role where you will support adult learners in practicing their reading, writing, and spelling skills. You will work closely with our student coach coordinator to develop personalized learning plans and select materials and activities to help learners achieve their goals.

We provide comprehensive training for coaches, ensuring they are equipped to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. This role is perfect for individuals who want to make a long-term commitment to supporting others.

  • Support adult learners in developing their literacy skills through one-on-one coaching sessions
  • Work collaboratively with the student coach coordinator to create personalized learning plans
  • Select and deliver engaging materials and activities to support learner progress

The ideal candidate will possess excellent spoken English, reading, and writing skills, as well as a patient and friendly demeanor. A Police background check is required for this role.
