CT Scanning Team Member

As a Registered Nurse in our CT scanning team, you will be working closely with radiologists and other Medical Imaging Technologists to provide expert care to patients before, during, and after various radiographic procedures in CT.
You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with critical moments every day and contribute to ensuring the best possible patient outcomes in a high-tech, clinical setting.
Your key responsibilities will include inserting intravenous cannulas or accessing CVADs to inject iodine contrast and medications to patients, observing and monitoring inpatients, and helping in patient transfers on and off the CT bed.
Requirements and Qualifications- Registered nurse with a current practising certificate.
- Previous experience in Radiology/Surgical/Procedural Nursing would be an advantage.
- Competence in accessing CVADs.
- Ultrasound cannulation skills are preferred but not essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
