The Palliative Care service provides specialized care to patients referred from secondary care services at Tauranga and Whakatane Hospitals. As a key member of this team, you will work closely with community providers across the Bay of Plenty to ensure seamless transitions of care and contribute to future management plans.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assess and develop specialist management plans to support patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with clinicians to provide ongoing education and training to undergraduate and postgraduate trainees.
  • Contribute to the development and review of the palliative care service across the district and region.
