**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Emergency Department in Taupo Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding environment, providing specialist nursing care and expertise to patients within the Emergency Department, as well as delivering an outreach nursing service for Taupo Hospital's Inpatient Unit and Birthing Unit.
The ideal candidate will have advanced nursing knowledge, clinical leadership skills, and the ability to undertake coaching and teaching. They will be responsible for facilitating multidisciplinary care for complex presentations to the Emergency Department.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist nursing care and expertise within the Emergency Department.
- Deliver an outreach nursing service for Taupo Hospital's Inpatient Unit and Birthing Unit.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary care for complex presentations to the Emergency Department.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a current Nursing Council of New Zealand practicing certificate.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Nursing inclusive of an assessment and bioscience paper.
- Current Full driver's license.
- Recent hospital clinical practice – minimum of 3 years Emergency Department experience.
