Training Development Specialist

A better day, every day, is our mission. As Regional Trainer, you will:
- Develop and oversee Support Worker training according to Access Kaiāwhina Competency standards in your region.
- Evaluate and ensure our paid induction program and hands-on buddying are suitable for our community support environment.
- Collaborate with line managers, particularly Care Coordinator Team Leaders and Support Worker Team Leaders, to maintain a competent workforce.
- Contribute to workplace training design and development, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and operational needs.
- Possess teaching experience and qualifications in adult learning, nursing, allied health, or teaching.
- Experience in the health sector is preferred.
- Hold a registered assessor qualification and be an approved Careerforce Assessor or able to obtain it.
- Be willing to undertake further study towards the Certificate in Adult Teaching.
- Provide evidence of standards-based assessment experience.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Be proficient in technology and Microsoft Office.
- Address the learning needs of groups and individuals in a culturally sensitive manner.
- Be highly collaborative.
- Able to work autonomously.
