About the Role
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Psychiatrist to join our team at Te Whetu Tawera, the Adult Acute Inpatient Mental Health Unit. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting excellent health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the needs of each patient
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and services
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a medical practitioner registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand, eligible for Vocational Registration in Psychiatry, and hold an Annual Practising Certificate. A strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to ongoing professional development are essential qualities for this position.
