ProTen Limited, a leading corporate chicken grower in Australia, seeks an experienced Poultry Operations Manager to join our Australian-based team. We are committed to excellence in farm management and animal welfare.

The Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional to oversee the daily operations of our state-of-the-art, tunnel-ventilated broiler farms. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing farm staff, contractors, and visitors, ensuring efficient communication with processors, and maintaining accurate reporting and record-keeping in line with ProTen standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure animal welfare and adhere to hygiene and biosecurity protocols
  • Analyze farm data for performance improvements
  • Manage production, safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards
  • Drive continuous improvement and oversee general administration to ensure farm productivity and performance

Required Skills and Qualifications
