About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetist to join our team, covering a number of colleagues on sabbatical leave. Key Responsibilities
As an Anaesthetist with Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to patients undergoing surgery. This includes assessing patients pre-operatively, developing and implementing anaesthetic plans, and monitoring patients during procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess either FANZCA or an equivalent qualification that would lead to specialist registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ). Additionally, you will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment. A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education is also essential.
