Overview
The Biologics and Medication Specialist will oversee all clinic biologics and phone triage functions. This role involves initiating and facilitating prior authorization processes for biologic medications, ensuring proper documentation is submitted to insurance companies for approval, and coordinating the timely delivery of prescribed treatments to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of biologic medication authorization, including initiating prior authorizations and submitting necessary paperwork to insurance providers.
  • Collaborate with physicians and pharmaceutical representatives to remain updated on treatment plans and drug protocols.
  • Oversee and respond to phone calls directed to the Nurse Line in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process and respond to faxes received in the Nurse inbox, ensuring prompt attention and resolution.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week.
  • Monday - Thursday: 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
