At Waipa District Council, we are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Manager to lead the service delivery of infrastructure and assets. As a key member of our Executive Leadership Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of district infrastructure in a planned and sustainable way.

The ideal candidate will have substantial local government experience, with extensive knowledge in the service delivery of infrastructure and assets. You will need to have a relevant tertiary qualification, with continued professional learning, and proven executive leadership experience.

Key responsibilities of the role include providing clear and effective leadership for a large team, enabling effective delivery of infrastructure services, and ensuring key district assets are suitably maintained for optimal operation.

We welcome an expression of interest from leaders who are able to make effective decisions under pressure and think clearly during times of rapid change. You will also need to have management skills across strategy, planning, financials, people, and risk management.

This is a fixed-term contract role between now and September 2026, supporting the Council ahead of changes impacting Local Government. The role will provide critical strategic leadership over the next 18-month period, supporting the Chief Executive and Executive Team.
