**Production Support Specialist Job Description:** We are seeking a Production Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with experience in operating and maintaining complex equipment. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively support production operations.

Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in the operation and maintenance of PVD, CVD, and electroplishing/electroplating equipment, including vacuum pumps, vacuum fittings, heaters, sputter sources, motorized drives, sensors, and controls for temperature and flow.
* Collaborate with production staff to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.
* Develop and maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and calibration records to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Participate in quality control initiatives to ensure adherence to production specifications and customer requirements.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement by suggesting new ideas and implementing best practices within the production team.

Requirements:
* AAS degree or technical certification in physics, chemistry, or other engineering fields or commensurate experience.
* Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, with experience in operating and maintaining complex equipment is required.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
* Minimum Qualifications: H.S. graduate or equivalent, 2-5 years industrial experience in high-tech manufacturing, strong mechanical aptitude, background in electrical and electronics manufacturing operations, excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to work and flourish in a milestone-driven, fast-paced environment, ability to multi-task, solid communication and organization skills.
