About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced midwife to join our team as a Rural Birthing Services Coordinator. In this role, you will provide postnatal care and assist whanau in navigating the pregnancy journey. With accommodation available, you will have a unique chance to gain rural midwifery experience in a supportive environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement care plans for inpatients, taking into account their individual needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with LMC midwives to provide high-quality midwifery care.
- Manage referrals to Waikato Hospital and ensure the unit is well stocked and running smoothly.
