Job Description

We are seeking an experienced quantity surveyor to join our team due to future internal movements in the commercial department. As a senior or intermediate QS, you will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end, preparing estimates, tender documentation, supplier agreements, and negotiation with sub-contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing detailed budgets and cost plans
  • Undertaking the valuing of variations and potential variations
  • Contract administration

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A tertiary degree in Quantity Surveying
  • At least 8+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a NZ commercial main contractor
  • Ideal background in construction or a related field
  • Outstanding IT skills
  • Experience with tendering and estimating
  • Excellent communication, organization, confidence, and enthusiasm
