The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our properties, Karamu and Rangitautau, which consist of 550ha and 630ha of hill country respectively.

About Us:

Ranui Livestock is a reputable and innovative farming business with a strong focus on producing high-quality livestock. We pride ourselves on offering a supportive working environment where initiative is valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of both properties, including pasture management and stock control.
  • Work closely with the Block Manager to ensure effective management of Rangitautau.
  • Maintain excellent communication skills, both within the team and with external contractors and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of pasture and feed management.
  • Proven experience in farm management, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Excellent staff management and leadership skills.
  • Able to make informed decisions and understand the principles of good farm management.
