**About Taituara**

Taituara is seeking a highly skilled Policy Strategist to contribute to our corporate planning processes. This role will involve shaping our Long Term and Annual Plans, bylaws, policies, and strategies to ensure organisational performance is monitored and reported on.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the Local Government Act and other legislation, as well as experience in project planning and delivery. They will be well-versed in both quantitative and qualitative approaches and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and review corporate plans, bylaws, and policies
  • Support spatial and strategic planning initiatives
  • Provide policy advice to activity managers and Council
