**Company Overview**

MidCentral District Health Board is expanding its department of Anaesthesia, providing an exciting opportunity for Specialist Anaesthetists to join our team. Our theatre complex comprises seven operating theatres, with plans for expansion to nine theatres plus the use of a private hospital theatre.

Our team consists of 26 specialist anaesthetists, eight registrars, and six senior house officers. We operate two separate on-call rosters for anaesthesia and intensive care. Our services cover almost all sub-specialties except neurosurgery and cardiac surgery, allowing successful applicants to participate in a wide range of anaesthesia services.
