Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high standards of medical care to young people with a first-time psychotic disorder
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a client-centred support programme
  • Evaluate outcomes and contribute to improving the service delivery
  • Provide consultation-liaison and training to mental health services in the Central Region district

About You

  • Vocationally registered in Psychiatry with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
  • FRANZCP or equivalent qualification
  • Interest in working with young people and contributing to their recovery from first episode psychosis
  • Ability to work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
  • Extensive knowledge of intellectual disability service delivery
