Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and developing gardens, lawns, and landscaping within the community
  • Loading and moving supplies, preparing garden sites, planting, transplanting, watering, weeding, pruning, mowing, and general garden upkeep
  • Leading a team of two full-time gardeners with some part-time assistance

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated competence in a similar role
  • Demonstrated knowledge of plants and growth patterns
  • NZ Drivers License for Village Vehicles, including a manual small truck
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Committed to safe work practices
