Your Responsibilities
This role involves providing expert advice and guidance to the operations team on all EHS matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for:
- Leading the site's EHS efforts and developing targeted programs to improve EHS performance.
- Coordinating EHS aspects of facility projects, including writing and auditing work safe permits.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for the application of health and safety legislation.
- Revise EHS management plans, manuals, and associated procedures as needed.
Key Performance Indicators:
Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to:
- Improve EHS performance through the development and implementation of targeted programs.
- Maintain accurate records of EHS incidents, near misses, and other events.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to the operations team on all EHS matters.
