Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified ECE kaiako to join our team as a lead teacher for learning communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that promotes children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Plan and implement educational programs that meet the needs of young learners
  2. Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth
  3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  4. Monitor and report on children's progress and development
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation
  6. Participate in centre-wide activities and events
  7. Adhere to centre policies, procedures, and regulations

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • Current registration with the Teaching Council of New Zealand
  • Proven experience working in an early childhood education setting
