About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced contract manager to join our team as Principal Contract Manager. As a key member of our contract management team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of contract management strategies that align with Ministry frameworks and objectives.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring the contract management team to drive continuous improvement in processes and outcomes
  • Managing high-risk and high-value contracts, ensuring all contractual deliverables are met, risks are managed, and outcomes are achieved in line with Ministry expectations
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with strategic suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring collaborative, productive partnerships that deliver value for money
Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in contract management, including negotiation, performance monitoring, and closeout of contracts
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organisational goals, ensuring continuous improvement and value for money outcomes
  • Expertise in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, and managing contract budgets and expenditures effectively
