Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Mott MacDonald Full time

Mott MacDonald New Zealand is a team of experts who excel in delivering successful projects. Their portfolio includes Christchurch's Te Kaha Stadium, the Lake Onslow Pumped Hydro Scheme Feasibility, Seascape Tower, Auckland Airport upgrades, and numerous complex wastewater treatment plants across New Zealand.

The electrical and industrial team focuses on electrical engineering and related advisory services in power systems, control systems, and SCADA/Telemetry sectors. They strive for technical excellence and solutions that are safe, reliable, efficient, and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will assist with designing, specifying, and delivering SCADA and telemetry systems for various clients. These systems typically consist of multiple remote sites operating PLCs or RTUs, which communicate back via radio/3G/Fibre to a central SCADA system.

You will also contribute to planning and designing various projects, including large municipal, commercial onsite, and industrial trade wastewater & water treatment plants; pump stations; chemical dosing systems; and many other industrial mechanical installations.

Your experience in water and/or wastewater treatment plants and conveyancing will enable you to add value from day one.

About You

We are looking for a degree-qualified Electrical Engineer with exposure and experience in the industrial and electrical industries. Experience working for a consultancy would be beneficial, but your expertise in SCADA, telemetry, and control systems is essential.

You should possess strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and project management skills to help deliver projects on time and within budget.
