Hellers NZ's Butcher is a leading meat processing and distribution company seeking an experienced data analyst to join our team. As a key member of our business intelligence unit, you will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision making across various business units.

Key Responsibilities

You will assist the ERP upgrade project team in aligning new system requirements. Your key tasks will include:

  • Building, optimizing, and maintaining ETL processes using Jet Analytics to transform, load, and integrate data from multiple sources into the data warehouse or other systems.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather requirements for data reporting, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Creating and managing data models, dashboards, and reports in Power BI, Excel, and Jet Reports to provide actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Providing training, documentation, and support to end-users on BI tools and solutions.
  • Integrating data from Dynamics 365 BC, ensuring seamless data flow and alignment between Dynamics BC and other business systems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • A successful track record as an IT and/or Business Analyst professional.
  • At least 3 years' experience in business intelligence, with exposure to Microsoft.
  • Hands-on experience with a strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modelling best practices.
  • A strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.
  • Experience in SQL (T-SQL) for query development and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and integrating it with BI solutions.
  • Experience in designing and developing Power BI or Jet Reports dashboards and reporting.
