About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Community Outreach Psychiatric Lead to join our team at Auckland District Health Board. The successful candidate will lead the Assertive Community Outreach Service, working closely with individuals who require intensive support and treatment.

About the Team:

The Assertive Community Outreach Service (ACOS) is an intensive Community Mental Health Team that works with people who have a history of poor engagement with mental health services and who present with high risk associated with their condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Assertive Community Outreach Service.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams in both inpatient and community settings.
  • Provide responsive treatment to individuals with complex needs.

Requirements:

  • Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or eligibility for registration.
