Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of restaurant staff and supervising their performance
  • Maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed
  • Managing reservations and coordinating with suppliers
  • Tracking daily costs and revenues
  • Balancing the cash register at the end of each shift
  • Ensuring client satisfaction and handling complaints professionally
  • Opening or closing the restaurant as required
  • Reporting maintenance and training needs

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-3 years' experience in F&B service
  • Previous supervision experience preferred
  • NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 4)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A strong understanding of the Sale of Liquor Act
  • The ability to work on a rotating roster, including early mornings
