KidsCan Charitable Trust is a leading not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing food, clothing, and health products to schools and early childhood centres in areas of high deprivation across New Zealand.

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnership Manager to join our team and help us achieve our mission. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing strategies to secure major partnerships that drive revenue growth and support our cause.

You will work closely with our Head of Partnerships, Fundraising and Individual Giving to identify new opportunities and develop bespoke engagement plans that align with the needs of both KidsCan and our partners.

Your exceptional relationship-building skills, combined with your strategic mindset and creative thinking, will enable you to build strong relationships with corporate partners and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement partnership strategies to drive revenue growth and support KidsCan's mission.
  2. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, including identifying new opportunities and negotiating agreements.
  3. Work collaboratively with internal teams to facilitate partner engagement and ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
  4. Provide leadership and coaching to the Partnerships Executive and contribute to the development of the wider team.
What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this role has extensive experience in marketing/sponsorship and account management, with a proven track record of securing major partnerships and driving revenue growth.

You possess exceptional relationship-building skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to think creatively and identify opportunities for growth.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, combined with excellent organisational and time management capabilities, are essential for success in this role.
