Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Logistics/Operations Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the supply and distribution needs of our customers are met across New Zealand.
You will work closely with the Supply & Distribution Manager and our LPG teams, suppliers, and contractors to perform a wide range of analytical tasks, including forecasting, modelling, and creating and maintaining models and spreadsheets.
Your analysis and modelling will inform recommendations to the business and our suppliers to ensure efficient, effective, and safe operations.
You will be responsible for creating regular and ad hoc reports using reporting tools like Power BI, handling and resolving issues related to supply, demand, and/or the logistics chain, and identifying and implementing improvements to our processes, models, and systems.
This is a varied and challenging role that requires strong analytical expertise, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, communication skills, and a proactive approach.
