**Job Summary**
Whiria Te Tangata O Taupo Moana is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team, working in partnership with local health organizations to improve health outcomes for whanau. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients, while contributing to the development of innovative care solutions.
**About the Role:**
- This is a part-time position, with opportunities to extend hours if needed.
- As a skilled Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for treating acute and long-term conditions, including complex needs, and will work autonomously to prioritize care and adapt to changing patient requirements.
- You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement effective care plans, in consultation with patients and their whanau, and to work collaboratively with local health organizations to improve health outcomes and reduce barriers to access.
**Requirements:**
- New Zealand Nurse Practitioner endorsement and current Annual Practice Certificate.
- Experience in primary healthcare or similar, with understanding of Hauora Maori principles and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand, with a sound understanding of Hauora Maori and ability to work with vulnerable populations.
