**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Executive to join our team at Recruit Express. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Accounting: Prepare monthly closing journals, review and prepare monthly accounts reconciliations and schedules, review monthly inventories ageing report for adequate net realisable value, control chart of account, review consistency, control account creation and archive.
  • Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivables: Review sales ledger and purchase ledger reconciliation, review monthly inter-co billing and ensure consistent accounting treatment, review debtors aging reports and vendors statement reconciliation, prepare commissions for payroll submission, monitor daily cash flow requirements, prepare/review Banker's Guarantees applications, maintain records and monitor expiry/renewal, prepare/review payments to vendors.
  • GST and Tax: Review GST submission workings and GST reconciliation test, prepare tax & deferred tax computation for accounting provision, prepare corporate tax computations for review by HO and tax consultants.
  • Fixed Assets and Capex: Prepare capex and maintain capex records for new/replacement of fixed assets, maintain asset register, prepare costing for demo registration, budget and forecasts - provide assistance to reporting team to formulate budget and forecasts, collaborate with Digital Technology team – user acceptance tests for new programs, parameters and interface set-ups etc.

Requirements:

  • A minimum Diploma holder in Accounting & Finance with 5-6 years of working experience or Degree holder in Accounting & Finance with 3-4 years of working experience.
  • Possess good Excel skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
