Waiheke Medical Centre is a thriving primary healthcare provider seeking an experienced General Practitioner or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a beautiful and supportive work environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in rural primary healthcare, acute healthcare, and Kaupapa Māori focused health. They will be able to work independently, have excellent communication skills, and be passionate about delivering quality patient care.

This full-time permanent position involves working Monday to Friday with occasional after-hours shifts. The successful applicant will be part of a motivated and supportive team that values Manaakitanga – Caring & Respect; Whānaungatanga – Connection; Kotahitanga – Unity; Ngākau Pono – Integrity; and Auahatanga – Innovation.

Job Requirements
  • NZ Registered GP or Nurse Practitioner
  • Familiarity with Indici
  • Availability for 6 sessions per week
  • Willingsness to work in urgent care & General Medical Care Clinics
  • Experience in Accident & Urgent Care, wound management, and long-term conditions
