As a Gastroenterologist at our institution, you will contribute to a supportive and stimulating team environment, tackling complex medical cases and advancing patient care through innovative approaches.

Your Key Responsibilities
You will work as an autonomous consultant in a teaching hospital, applying your skills in general internal medicine and gastroenterology to provide comprehensive care to patients. Your duties may include diagnosis and treatment of various gastrointestinal conditions, performing endoscopy procedures, managing IBD, and participating in ERCP and Spyglass sessions.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must hold FRACP or equivalent qualifications, along with vocational registration in New Zealand. You should also possess specialist accreditation in endoscopy recognised by the NZ Gastroenterology Society. While ERCP and EUS experience is highly desirable, we welcome applicants who can demonstrate strong skills in general gastroenterology and endoscopy.
