Job Description
We are looking for a skilled leader to oversee the provision of support services to teams across our Delivery group. As Manager, Delivery Support Services, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our support services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of government processes and working with Ministers' offices, as well as a proven track record of providing sound, trusted advice to senior leaders and demonstrated leadership experience, particularly in establishing new functions and developing capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our support services
- Work closely with Executive Assistants to the DCE and GMs to identify and manage risks and issues
- Lead a team of experts in providing support to teams across our Delivery group
- Ensure the effective operation of our Delivery group
- Play a key role in growing capability across the group to ensure quality outputs
Requirements
- Proven ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, navigate issues, and solve problems
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build and leverage relationships and partner with colleagues
- Demonstrated leadership experience, particularly in establishing new functions and developing capability
- Understanding of government processes and working with Ministers' offices
