About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Room Allocation Coordinator to join our hotel services team. As a key member of our room allocation team, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient room management and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the allocation of guest rooms to ensure maximum occupancy rates.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve room allocation and occupancy rates.
  • Train and coach new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer experiences.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • You must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work on a rotating roster over 7 days if required, including weekends, public holidays and night shifts.
