Job Overview

Southern Cross Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Treasury and Cash Management Professional to join our Finance team. This role will focus on providing financial accounting support to the General Manager of the Southern Cross Trust and assisting with building out our treasury function.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing financial accounting support to the General Manager of the Southern Cross Trust.
  • Preparing month-end management accounts, annual operating budgets, and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Supporting the finance team with treasury-related tasks to maximise cashflow.
  • Providing regular cash flow forecasting, monitoring, and optimising the net working capital.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An accounting degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years practical experience in a financial accounting role in a medium to large-sized business.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong Accounting and GL knowledge.
  • CAANZ qualified or working towards qualification.
  • Experience with medium/large systems (Technology One, MS Dynamics, Oracles, SAP, JDE).
