About the Role
We have a position available for a skilled midwife to deliver essential antenatal and postnatal care to families in need. The Whanau Mai midwifery team is working to address the shortage of midwives in the Thames / Coromandel areas and provide vital support in the community.
In this role, you will run clinics from Thames and Paeroa, providing home visits postnatally and participating in weekly meetings with Thames Birth Unit staff midwives for birth planning. Your expertise will enable you to make a positive impact on the lives of local families.
The salary for this position will be based on experience and aligned with the MERAS Midwives Collective agreement. Additionally, benefits include kiwisaver contributions (if eligible), shift allowances, professional development, and wellness support.
