Job Description
We are seeking a Junior/Tier 1 Security Analyst to join our expanding team in Christchurch. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a range of cyber security threats, including DDoS, phishing, malware, and other advanced attacks. This role is ideal for a technically inclined individual with a genuine passion for developing skills and knowledge in the network security field.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Be able to continually pass the security vetting process and hold New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship.
- Highly motivated, eager to learn, and possessing a 'can do' mindset.
- Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Willing to work a rotating shift schedule, including night shifts.
- Fluent and articulate in English, with experience engaging clients via calls and emails.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferably with a focus on Information Security), or relevant cybersecurity certification(s).
- Demonstrated interest in staying current with security trends and developments.
