About the Role
St Ignatius of Loyola Catholic College Auckland is seeking an experienced counsellor to join our Pastoral Care Team. This is a fixed-term 0.6 maternity leave cover vacancy starting Term 2, 2025.

About You
We are looking for someone with proven experience in accompanying, advocating and counselling young people aged 12-18 years old. Your ability to assess risks and apply various therapeutic models will be invaluable to our team. A commitment to holistic student care and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Requirements
You should hold a qualification in Counselling with registration from NZAC or DAPAANZ. New Zealand teacher registration is preferred but we would consider applications from qualified counsellors who share our commitment to holistic student care and Catholic character.
