We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Professional to lead our dedicated Youth Forensic Team at Greenlane Clinical Centre. As a key leader, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to young people in the Auckland and Waitemata catchment areas.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Senior Mental Health Professional Lead. The role involves:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to the clinical team
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Developing and implementing effective treatment plans for young people
  • Liaising with local youth forensic teams and specialist clinicians
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Leading triage assessments and providing expert advice within the supra regional youth courts
  2. Facilitating admissions for young people requiring admission to the National secure youth forensic inpatient unit Nga Taiohi
  3. Actively liaising with Youth Coordination Teams to promote intersectoral approaches
