Role Overview
Tewhatuora is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our dynamic Critical Care team as an Advanced Clinician. This permanent, part-time (0.6FTE) role involves working Monday to Friday with rostered weekends.
About the Role
This Advanced Clinician Critical Care Dietitian opportunity will see you working across our critical care units, providing advanced clinical practice and implementing evidence-based standards of practice. You will lead the development of local pathways, protocols and guidelines, and provide clinical teaching and support to relevant stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Implementing evidence-based standards of practice
- Leading the development of local pathways, protocols and guidelines
- Providing clinical teaching and support to all relevant stakeholders
- Evaluating service requirements and implementing clinical research and audits
- Optimising patient experience through excellent interpersonal communication skills
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- New Zealand Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practicing Certificate
- Total of 8 years post-graduate experience, including four years full-time experience within the area of specialty
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary setting
- Effective time management, flexibility, prioritisation and organisation skills
- Drive, energy and initiative with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
