We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ophthalmic Registrar to join our team at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Matau a Māui Hawke's Bay. As an integral part of our department, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality eye care services to patients from across the region.
About the Team/Service/Location
The Ophthalmology Department at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' Memorial Hospital offers a supportive and collaborative working environment. Our team of specialists and support staff are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and promoting excellence in eye health.
In this role, you will be responsible for working collaboratively with colleagues to provide comprehensive eye care services, including outpatients, surgical ward, operating theatre, acute admissions unit, and emergency department. Your contributions will help to improve patient outcomes and promote excellence in eye health.
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in projects/initiatives giving effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks is required.
- A demonstrated commitment to applying Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches in healthcare settings is essential.
