Cabinet Fabricator

Tangram is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery assembly and cabinet making, with the ability to apply wet spray finishes as a bonus.

This role requires someone who is reliable, possesses excellent time management skills, communicates effectively, and is conscientious about health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Construct and repair high-quality cabinets, furniture, fixtures, and other products from various materials.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Select materials and create cutting lists for efficient production.
• Operate machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Apply wet spray finishes on cabinet components as needed.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a joiner or cabinet maker.
• Ability to apply wet spray finishes, a definite plus.
• Strong knowledge of techniques, materials, and tools used in cabinet making.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Clear communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and quality in workmanship.
• Health and safety conscious attitude.
• Physical fitness to lift heavy materials.
