Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Roads and Highways to play a pivotal role in shaping Wellington's Hutt Valley with landmark projects like Te Awa Kairangi (Riverlink).

You will lead transport planning, road network upgrades, and civil structures design disciplines in the delivery of major transport infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead transport planning, road network upgrades and civil and structures design disciplines in the delivery of major transport infrastructure.
  2. Oversee the design, procurement and delivery of key transport infrastructure projects in Wellington and wider ANZ region.
  3. Collaborate with government agencies, stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver on their project objectives.
  4. Ensure sustainability, safety, and efficiency in all transport solutions.
  5. Drive design and delivery capabilities within the team promoting innovation and best practices in civil engineering and urban transport.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Chartered Engineer (preferred) with extensive experience in civil infrastructure projects (preferably roads and highways design and design management).
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale transport projects.
  • Passion for urban development and community-focused solutions.
