About The Role
The Credit Analyst serves as an interface between Credit Management & Debt Recovery and Payroll Operations to manage financial administration for these functions. This role will be responsible for payroll payments, associated reconciliations, purchase orders, reconciliations, and recharges for credit management operations. Additionally, this position will assist with various credit management activities including credit risk assessment of new customers, projects, and reporting to support business units.
About You
We seek a skilled finance professional who demonstrates strong experience in support operations, specifically payroll, credit management, and debt recovery-related activities. You will have working knowledge and experience of New Zealand credit management and debt recovery policies, as well as an understanding of payroll tax legislation. Furthermore, you will provide other payroll finance-related tasks as required to support the payroll finance function. A sound understanding of the New Zealand legislative framework governing credit management and debt recovery functions is essential.
Requirements
- A finance or accounting related qualification and experience.
- Possess a continuous improvement mindset with the ability to recognize and implement improvement initiatives.
- A high level of analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining stakeholder and client relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure in a complex work environment.
- High level written & oral communications skills.
