">Key Responsibilities
">Responsible for overseeing and commissioning the integration of solar power systems into the electrical grid.
">Ensure compliance with New Zealand regulations for grid connection.
">Perform site assessments and analyze grid connection requirements for solar projects.
">Develop and review technical specifications for grid connection.
">Collaborate with project teams, developers, and grid operators to ensure successful project execution.
">Troubleshoot technical issues related to grid connection and solar system performance.
">Provide guidance on grid codes and standards to internal and external stakeholders.
">Qualifications
">Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
">Minimum of 8 years of experience in utility-scale power plant grid connection and electrical engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) power plant grid connection.
">Proficiency in solar design software such as PVSyst, HOMER, HelioScope, etc.
">Familiarity with New Zealand grid requirements and standards.
">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
">Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
">Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team and travel as needed.
