Job Description

At Visionwest Community Trust, we are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in identifying business requirements and developing solutions to meet the needs of our organization.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems analysis and business analysis, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results. You will work closely with our Programme Office and IT teams to ensure that all requirements are well-articulated, solutions are validated, and systems are commissioned and acceptance testing is successfully completed.

You will be responsible for facilitating workshops, documenting processes, business casing, and undertaking acceptance testing. Additionally, you will provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to staff on project deliverables.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, as well as excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills. They will be proactive, committed to achieving challenging objectives, forward-thinking, and success-driven.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify business requirements against strategic objectives and perform detailed analysis of business processes
  • Develop optimisation strategies, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions
  • Ensure solutions (processes, systems, and people) meet business needs and requirements
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and document, minute, and communicate the results
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to staff on project deliverables
Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary level qualification and professional certification as a Business Analyst or significant progress towards being certified. They will also have at least 5 years of systems analysis and/or business analysis experience, including experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations, leading and developing top-performing teams, and understanding and supporting multiple systems.
