About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Chef De Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at Sudima Auckland Airport. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes that meet brand standards across various outlets. Your expertise in creative menu planning, inventory management, and maintaining strict food hygiene and safety standards will be invaluable to our operations.

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, with excellent all-round cooking skills and a passion for innovation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes that meet brand standards.
  • Completing preparation tasks, communicating with managers and other parties to offer flexibility with dietary needs.
  • Maintaining a workspace that upholds strict food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Planning menus, accurately estimating food and labour costs, and managing supply orders.
  • Demonstrating cooking techniques and providing guidance to junior kitchen team members.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • At least three years of relevant experience or NZQF Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2).
  • Able to work individually and in a team, with excellent communication and planning skills.
  • Flexible to work rostered shifts, including mornings and evening shifts and public holidays.
