Underwater Habitat Manager

The National Aquarium of New Zealand has a unique opportunity for an experienced Underwater Habitat Manager to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our underwater habitat, including managing the health and well-being of aquatic life.

• Managing the maintenance and upkeep of our underwater habitat, including cleaning enclosures and monitoring water quality.
• Ensuring the safe handling of marine animals, including feeding and caring for fish, invertebrates, and other animals.
• Developing and implementing effective enrichment programs for marine animals.
• Providing excellent customer service to our visitors, including delivering presentations and encounters.

About This Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity, working 40 hours per week Mon-Sun on a roster basis. We will be interviewing applications as we receive them and may close the role when we have found the right person.
