Job Description
You will work closely with our clients to help them achieve their goals and reach their potential through practical and emotional support. Your responsibilities may include:
- Meal preparation and planning
- Community outings and integration
- Giving medication and personal care
- Bowel management stage 3, manual handling, and hoist transfers
- Home management and maintenance
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A desire to help and support others
- Excellent communication skills and flexibility to work alternative weekends
- Previous healthcare or care-giving experience is desirable, although not essential
- Healthcare qualifications are advantageous
- A full NZ driver's licence and reliable transport
